The "competition" we've been "destroying" is NOTHING like FSU.

Louisville would disagree

I get what you're shooting for here, but the only thing Syracuse and FSU have in common is that Louisville took them both to the woodshed. Doesn't even kind of, sort of, possibly, a little bit, mean Syracuse = FSU.

So you are saying Cuse>FSU by virtue of points scored vs a common opponent

That is correct. Anything less than a 25 point win over FSU should be considered a failure.

I'm not shooting for anything other than what my statement said. I am clearly stating that Syracuse and FSU are in the same league, (fact) and both got beat by similar margin (fact), and that both are beatable.

Kentucky and Alabama are in the same league, too. Both are beatable. Like I said, I get your point.

Plus, since Louisville beat them at home, we'll beat them at home. How's that for transitive thinking?

Yep to this. Ask Skip Holtz or our basketball coaches if it's easy to recruit here. If you can't get the talent it doesn't matter how good your Xs and Os are. What Levitt did in this area was outright impressive.

This.

It's all gonna be about turnover margin here. Last year that pick in the end zone was so deflating; win that battle and anything can happen. Really starting to buy into the fact that our offense can score some points on the defense. I'm just concerned of Jimbo throwing the sink at us and adding insane wrinkles.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
