Meh. Been to both a Super Bowl and a Nat'l Champ game. The atmosphere sucks. The tailgating is nonexistent. Its one of those things where telling people you've done it is more exciting than actually doing it. Like going to the White House.

 

Also, the tailgating sucked at the White House too.

Went to Auburn vs FSU National championship game... Heck of a great time, and the official tailgate was pretty amazing. (full disclosure, my wife is a Nole) 

With the National Championship in Tampa, if you can get a ticket for 85 dollars, you absolutely should go! Sometimes it just IS better being live at the game.

The BS over attendance and Big 12 is just  noise...NOT selling this game out would be a disaster to the narrative though

By looking at ticketmaster, there are about 4,000 primary market tickets available.  I'd also wager that another couple thousand are on hold for season ticket purchases, VIPS, etc.  Along with what might be returned from the official FSU allotment, I'm guessing there are at least 6,000 unsold tickets at this point.  Very concerned this won't sell out, but that's just my two cents.

Along with another few thousand tickets on the secondary market that may go unused. I think USF should stop sales in the third level on the home side for now so people are buying the third level that's in camera view so the attendance looks great on tv.  Hope I'm totally wrong about this. Go Bulls!
