Noon kickoffs in that stadium should be against the law. Either modify the stadium to create some shade, like down in Miami, or NO MORE NOON starts! When will the powers of TV or whoever learn this?

After dodging Hurricane Matthew in Jupiter, I made the decision to drive across the state & drag a friend to the game.

I was surprised & disappointed at the crowd...although I we had hundreds camped in the club area, enjoying the AC and chatting with friends.  I was only in for halftime to cool down & grab some water, but many stayed there the entire game.

And, our fans are so docile, it's sad. I stood & yelled on all 3rd & 4th downs for ECU, but was mostly alone.  Small crowds with little participation doesn't give much for home field advantage or "college feel".  This does NOT bode well for Big 12, no matter what our record is.

We'll be playing a ranked Navy in a few weeks.  if we can get there at 7-1, that could be a match up that puts butts in seats (and the 7 PM start is good...even if a Friday).  We'll be there, too, screaming.

Sitting here at the ranch, watching the game, we all noticed how small the crowd was. Wait...can I say 'crowd'? At no point in time did the television coverage make it look like anything but what a pre-game attendance level would look like. My assumption was that it would fill up into the first and second quarters, as there were probably homecoming activities that prevented the patrons from being in their seats by kickoff.  What's the general consensus / airtight alibi for the attendance (30K announced) figures....especially given that this was homecoming? Is it the hot-as-hell-noon-game scenario?

We moved to the side with more shade along with a lot of other people. think that side may not be shown on tv, but still was a smaller crowd than when we went to see towson.

The football team player and band members have to wear heavy uniforms while performing under the same hot sun as the fans. Now what is the excuse of the fans that don't show up to noon hot games again?!

USF just has to keep winning, get ranked and win the aac. Its been years of so many let downs. Finish strong, get ranked early next year and fly though an easy schedule next year. Followed by Brett Kean taking the helm. We are garunteed to be good the next 3-4 years. The fans will come.

I know several people that usually travel for every home game that skipped the game to return home from evac and survey the damage/start clean up. Millions of people had way more important things in life happening Friday/Saturday and I think that was definitely a factor....
