That post was meant to be in jest, I don't see any possible way AW is our starting QB against Towson or any other school next year personally.

One thing very few people bring up when quoting QF stats.......He did it in a year when both the offense and defense had a total style change. He still had the Coach  calling very conservative plays during a lot of his games. One thing that we all have to agree on he has magical power to pop out of a pack of bodies and make a play. More than once this year we have seen him go into the back of the line only to pop out down by the end and make a gain. Heck...even the camera man gets fooled trying to find him. His passing could be better. But, I don't think you will find to many guys like him that can go out and carry a team the way he does. The team believes in him and that means a lot.

This is just so stupid and ridiculous.  Some want to replace the heart and soul of a team for a guy that looks good throwing balls in shorts.

This can't be overstated.  Flowers just had, by far, the best year of any QB in USF history.  Better than Grothe, better than Daniels, better than Blackwell.  Heck, even better than Bobby Eveld and Pat Julmiste (lol).

He just busted out 34 touchdowns.  Did you hear that, he just busted out 34 TD's.  There are some heisman winners who probably had less total TD's (not suggesting he should win heisman).

USF just had, by far, the most total yardage EVER.  More than when Grothe QB'd, more than when Daniels QB's, and more than when Blackwell QB'd.

So unless you KNOW AW is going to put up 40 TD's and like over 4,000 yards, you don't touch the QB position.  It was earned, fair and square, by the blood, sweat, and tears put in by QF.  He died on that field for your USF Bulls this year.  He gave up his body for your team and then some.  He is the unquestioned, undisputed leader of this team.  And you want to mess with that chemistry?

And by the way, how do you propose knowing that AW is better anyway.  By the way he looks in spring ball when they can't be touched?  By the spirals he throws?  What?  Because we already have hard evidence that QF can do it in actual games to the tune of 3,300 total yards, 34 TD's and 1,000 yards rushing.  We already have hard evidence that a QF led team can consistently put up 40-50 points and over 500 yards.  These are facts.  So what evidence are you going to present that AW is actually "better".

I stand by my statement.  AW will never see the field (outside of garbage time) as long as QF puts on a USF uniform, nor should he.  QF has earned the right to be USF's QB for the next 2 years, unless they bring in the next Peyton Manning in the recruiting cycle.

Is it ok for me to compare AW to Carlton Hill(as of now)? Highly rated/recruited out of high school and yet do nothing at USF?
