Cincy was supposed to have a pretty high powered offense and they were down 51-3 at the half against us.  

Our defense, as a unit, is about as good as it ever was.  If the Bull Sharks come out to play, the only ones putting up a LOT of points will be USF.

Have a look at S&P+ ratings and F/+ ratings to get a better idea of how the teams compare with opponent-adjusted statistics.

I have a feeling a lot of Bulls fans are going to be shocked come December 21st. IMO this will be a close game that could go either way.

I think it comes down to how ready the team is to play after some time off, but the same would go for WKU.

It might be wise for Ciabatti to bring a pillow to this one just in case.  I think we punt only if we get penalties, just like the UCF game.  Our defense has done well against better teams than WKU.  They did most of their work against truly awful competition...

Why because they barely lost to Indiana? 

I'm not buying WKU as a top 25 team, their Defense is not that good and given up tons of yards to offenses our defense would've feasted on. Maybe i'm wrong, but I think WKU is the one in for the wake up call. They can't match this speed on the lines and it will hurt them. We all saw it live against Cincy and Temple, if your line can't match us speed wise its going to be a long day.

We are the best defense they will have seen by far since LSU. Give us their schedule and we only have a lost to LSU with much more impressive defensive performances.
