I like the fact that we get a top-25 team, not to mention a conference champ. I'm very happy about our bowl now.

And the 2nd best team in the conference gets to play Toledo in a bowl. At least we get an 11 win ranked team to play. Temple is the team that really got screwed, not us. They should have played Va Tech.

Not a good match up for the AAC... Tulsa will most likely make our conference look bad.

That game is on a Saturday afternoon and Beamers last game. I think a ton of people will be tuned into that one unlike our game on a Monday afternoon that is 2 group of 5 teams. I'd rather be going to the independence bowl.

I think the bowl wanted a sure thing for Beemer's last game. The Temple fans are especially pissed off about this.

Tulsa for the proximity and VT for a traditional fanbase that will travel no matter where it is .... especially for Beamer's last game.

The Temple fans didn't help their cause by failing to attend the AAC championship game in Houston in large enough numbers.
