So under what scenario would it be a PAC 12 team? Who could that team be? And when are we expecting to find out?

The Pac 12 has 3 extra teams looking for bowls.  There are other bowls that want them also, so there are no guarantees that the Pac 12 would even be interested in sending a team to Miami.  But if we were fortunate enough to snag one, it would either be Washington, Arizona, or Arizona State.  We'll know within the next 2 days.

Expect to face a 10-2 Western Kentucky, and be pleasantly surprised if we get Washington.

WKU is a good team.  If we're favored it won't be by much.

Or California. They're in the same grouping.

Will be there + 3

a PAC12 team will probably not travel well to this particular Bowl, I am ok with WKU

Just an FYI Tailgating will have to take place in an indoor garage. Find a bar near by!

Really funny thing is the Miami Beach Bowl page is blocked here at my work. All the rest, no problem, just the Miami page. :wtf:

Is your IT director a UCF grad?

Oh, wait, UCF grads only work in fast food.

We will be there as well as our sons and their friends.  I have a job and WILL take the day off!

I cant believe what I am reading here.  We finally get a bowl and------

Wah, Wah Wah, its on a Monday afternoon, don't like the city, don't like the opponent, CRAPPY SEATS.

Support your team!!!  who gives a rats ars who the opponent is?  we are finally winning and in a bowl

Goooo Bulls

Regardless of whining and complaining, it's so great to still be talking football after the season ended.  The last 5 years we were just trashing the BBall team at this point. Go Bulls!

Only way to park there is in the garage, no outdoor parking. I am sure the Alumni will have a tent etc, that might be your best bet.

If that's the case, it was a smart choice. Right now recruiting is more than the minor difference than the St Pete Bowl attendance difference and the equally minor difference in the TV viewership between the two games.

So, what does your close friend say about the ocs done deal at the MOSI site?

I'm sure that was sarcasm, but I asked him anyway. He said that USF is very interested in the MOSI site and that interest has nothing to do with football. He said sure if we get the land, thats where it would go, but the site has a lot more jewels on it than just land for a OCS. As far as MOSI goes it boils down to them going full bankrupt and being forced to take the bailout deal that was proposed a while back that would ultimately move them downtown into the new Channelside complex that Vinik is lobbying for.
