Students just don't care. There is zero buzz on campus about the team. Ask around on game week and 9/10 will say they aren't going. Pathetic bunch. They would rather take selfies 24/7.

Conference currently has 4 teams in ESPN's TOP 25 power rankings,  3 in the Coaches top 25 POLL.   (Navy  just on the outside).  I wouldn't call it a crappy conference this year.

It's not necessarily the quality of the teams, it's the lack of name recognition.

A whole bunch of people including a whole bunch of USF students missed out on a great game and a great Saturday of tailgating.  That's the only thing I have to contribute to this discussion.

Tampa sports fans (in general) have always been crappy. Yesterdays attendance was the worst I've seen in a long time.

Surprised to see so few students there yesterday, and this wasn't even a noon game. The people that read this forum aren't the problem, USF has two weeks to win over the typical, on-the-fence Tampa fan looking for a "fun" thing to do. If the trend continues, I hope both students and fair-weather Tampa fans represent against Temple.

agreed, Temple was so crappy they got kicked out of the Big East 10 years ago now people are hugging their nuts like they're Michigan.
