He should Say nothing ,shut his mouth and make the changes. I for one could stomach loses if it looked like he was trying to change by letting the players do what they are supposed to do PLAY. Not to handcuff them with cautious game plans and excuses about the players not being ready.

That won't work either, because people would be complaining that he's not telling us anything.

It would work if people saw a difference on the field and in his play calling.

At the end of the day he has the ultimate responsibility and his job, or lack thereof, will be the only thing that matters.  All these words are just filling space.

Before this last weekend, had he ever blamed himself for the play calling?

With out change words are meaningless. However admission is the first step.

We will see and so won't the people who are making the decision on his future

You have to just shake your head at the people who apparently think that we should abandon the strengths of this team for Air Coryell ...

How many games can we win scoring 17 points a game?  I understand we don't have the personnel to throw 60 times a game, but this offense as designed leaves very little margin for error.

Can't disagree with the margin thing when throwing a pass in this offense, but I don't know how many points we'd be scoring without this offense. I suspect less based on history.

how are we returning to the run when we never left it?

In this article he blames the receivers for not getting open.  I've seen open receivers that don't get the ball thrown to them.  Also saw a wide open receiver drop a TD pass. Don't tell me the receivers can't get open.

I'm assuming he means on a regular basis. What's ironic is that you titled the thread "surprise-more of the same" and then you go on to criticize Taggart as you always do. Is that the surprise-more of the same you meant? you being critical?
