Is the offense really any different?

Not very different.  At least all the motion  and shifting is gone.  Fewer false starts and illegal motion penalties.  With Taggarts playbook, a 5yd penalty is a drive killer.

Is it me or his Quinton Flowers really not the running threat that Taggart makes him out to be? I mean if we are passing just about any QB can run 10 yards on a broken play. I just dont see the intangible. Even when the play breaks down he cant see down the field.

Is it CWT can't make the calls, or is it QF doesn't know enough of the playbook to open things up?

Or maybe THAT IS the playbook and we're stuck playing out the season...

I thought Kinan was supposed to be the guy to help CWT with the offense.

Personally, I see a lot of weapons and no one that knows how to fire them.

I may be the only one, but I believe that CWT is handcuffed with what Flowers can or can't do.  There have been pass plays that Flowers just didn't see the open receiver and tried to run.

With that said, it doesn't excuse what, IMO, has been really bad play calling.  CWT named Flowers as the starter, he needs to trust him as the starter.  If he feels that he can't trust him, then someone else needs to be the QB.

Flowers vs Mike White last season, who is as mobile as my couch. (and who also could throw a little)

Did you get that throwing couch at Rooms to Go or Kanes?

CWT tried to speed things up last year.  It last a quarter or two.  He is incapable of calling plays quickly, except for the first dozen plays or so that are scripted.  He also believes in running the ball, then running ball, and then running once more.  Unfortunately, this isn't the 70s anymore.

That is exactly what was happening at practices this year.  It all looked great until you realize there were no decisions to be made as far as down and distance.

this is accurate but qf is cwt's qb

cwt needed to bring in 3 new qbs in the offseason to compete for the job and he didnt

our offense is basically the same---WE DONT THROW THE BALL.

the pace may be a bit faster but execution still stinks

I think it's better. But, not much. And it as so bad last year that it's just gone from horrific, to terrible, to bad.

Last year we went backwards.  Now we are more stationary.

We're averaging a lot more yards that we have been the past 2 years, so yes, it is improved, just not nearly enough.
