He had a couple garbage passes that forced guys to the ground but he also hit receivers in the hands (including an easy 6). Bench isn't going to throw those passes any better and will be far less elusive. If you aren't doing much this season why not develop the only QB that is going to be back next year (even if you as head coach aren't)? Absolutely no reason to develop him when he won't be starting next year anyway. This is the issue. You are assuming AW is the answer to all our problems. Like plenty of our prospects, he has a good arm but plenty of unanswered questions. Pretty sure the few people that covered USF said it took five throws to see AW was a better QB that everyone else. Doesn't matter who is throwing it when you have Bronson trying to play cornerback and Rodney "no hands" Adams.

No, they said he looked better in practice. We already knew he had an arm. We've had plenty of workout warrior QBs over the past couple years that couldn't do it when the lights came on. Floyd looked great in practice from all reports. You saw hose that worked out.

Hands yes, but behind the receiver AND high. Dumpster fire is a good analogy right now. Maryland isn't a Top 10 team.

Who cares about INTs. We got beat by a QB that threw 3 today.
