It's going to be a slow start but the team is going to find their identity, pick up steam and finish proudly at 7-5. And they are going to win the bowl game to conclude the season at 8-6.

 

This is the year it gets turned around.

 

 

*Edit: I didn't realize there is going to be a conference championship game.

 

7-5 regular season.

7-6 after CCG.

8-6 after bowl game.

 

7-5 would not get USF into the CCG... unless USF goes 0-4 in non-conference games and 7-1 in conference games (unlikely is too weak a word... "incredibly highly improbable" fits)

With no QB named and the limited success of both guys to date, 5-7; 6-6 seems to be the ceiling. If we can out do that season is a major success.

If taggart gets us to a bowl game, and the team doesn't look like donkey dung doing so, he should get 1 more year.
