1)  Which QB will be named starter to open the season vs. FAMU?  Chances based on CWT's thinking: Flowers 90% Bench 10%

 

2)  Will this be the same QB that starts the season's final game vs UCF? Bench will start midway into the season and stay the starter.

 

3)  How many net offensive yards will the Bulls new offense total vs. FAMU? 250, mostly on Mack's runs.

 

4)  Do you expect the Bulls to score a defensive touchdown against FAMU? No

 

5)  Where are you on the Optimism Meter, for the season?  Low, Medium or High? Very high. My only concern is the O-line. Are we good enough to open holes this year?

 

Changes are good. I'm happy to know that CWT has implemented offensive changes to give the team a chance to do well. With so many new ideas on offense, I think we'll see some fun football. The first three games come down to (1) Does Flowers make more good plays or more mistakes? And (2) Do we have a good O-line?

>> Bulls opens the season in grand fashion and puts up 453 yards

>> Yes, Nate Godwin causes a fumble and scoops it up for a TD

 

5)  Where are you on the Optimism Meter, for the season?  Low, Medium or High?

 

>> High, not b/c I expect us go undefeated but b/c we finally seem to making the right decisions to grow and stabilize the football program. However SO MUCH depends on our QB play that it's a definitely a cautious optimism.

I will say 450 yards vs FAMU

 

Maybe we will score a defensive TD. I wouldn't bet on it though.

 

Medium optimism. Closer to the season we get, the more I think we will get that 6th win into a bowl game. But my preseason prediction all offseason was still 5 wins.
