This thread made me die a little inside

 

Thread made me laugh a little. There's absolutely nothing he can say at one of these things that will appease the ones who've already given up on him .....

I think any non-P5 coach talking about playing in a New Years Day bowl or beating top 5 teams with his record is absurd.

I guess it's better than if he had said, "I want to see fans excited, even when we're playing out the string in November. But I promise we're going to score against UCF this year!"

This guy is just delusional. 

 

Taggart stokes crowd by saying: "You know what happened the last time we went to Tallahassee...those days are coming back." #USF

 

I understand saying some things to excite the fans, but why don't you start somewhere a little lower than the team that has lost once in the last 2 years.... Like finishing above .500 in the AAC, or beating UCF. Even our fans have to think c'mon dude...

Did we sign a home and home with FAMU?

Yep.  The coach has to sell confidence, not just for the fans, but for the team.

 

As for me, I'm skeptical that this year will amount to anything, but still when it comes time for the first kickoff, I'll be in Bulls gear and will be excited.
