I think he could have used more down to earth coach speak that wouldn't have left us wondering about his grasp of reality.

Excited. Hmmmm. Well, I'd lean more towards "looking forward to" rather than excited.

As for getting amped up on 'coach speak', seen a little too much of that over the years.

Hopefully the season shows some improvement, but I won't wager on blazin' our way

to a conference championship this year, much less being the recipient of the the 

"throw the dog a bone" bowl slot.

I'm a bit excited... or maybe just intrigued... or maybe I want a to see the dumpster fire in person.  Either way, I just bought 5 season tickets.  I'll be like Michael Jackson eating popcorn.

Yes, intrigued is the word I was looking for. Coach knows all eyes are on him, and with all of the changes this offseason we just don't know what will happen. Use the Rays for example. With all the changes after the 2014 season (GM, manager, and the mass exodus of fan favorite players). The team is doing better than I had ever expected. Over 500 and fighting for the division lead at almost the halfway point.

I am more excited to see which coaches will be available after this season. I've always been a Strong fan.

The only condition I would let Taggart stay is if he beats BOTH FSU and UCF.

Who can deny this is the attitude that we need? All Bulls fans feel that exact way. That's why we all act neurotic, because we were there when we used to do good football things and then well, this happened. 

 

If this is how he feels, yes, it's what I want. But it's what has happened in the last two years that drives me up the wall.
