Egbunu is NOT a star. Most overhyped USF player since BB Walton.

Has more talent than anyone that played for us last year.

Would you say you're sold on Egbunu? Is he the real deal?

He's had his ups and downs, but he may very well have already left USF as the best C in school history.

That says more about our program than about Egbunu.

Kid will have his up's and downs but by far he is the best QB we have recruited in years. Kid may very well leave the best QB in USF History.

Please don't ever put Julmiste as a Top QB. Barnhardt and Brian Fisher

The statement I made was correct, however he was not the best QB in USF History. Sadly he is prob top 5 though.

1. Grothe

2. Blackwell

3. Daniels

4. Julmiste

5. Tie with a bunch of ppl including Ronnie Banks, Matt White, Eveld, etc...

You've got White on the same level as Eveld. Laughable. White was far better than Eveld. White was better than Pat Julmiste also. For those of us who actually lived through the Julmiste era, his passing ability left a lot to be desired. He was a powerful runner though. Here's the real top 5+ QBs.

1. Blackwell

2. Grothe

3. Daniels

4. Barnhardt

5. White

6. Julmiste

7. Banks, Eveld, Fisher etc.

I'd put Julmiste ahead of White simply due to wins and the fact that the offense moved while he was starting even though it wasn't a juggernaut by any means.  I can't recall anyone else that should really be in the conversation after those six.

Julmiste sucked as a passer and the offense was lethargic at best. White is a better pure passer than Julmiste was. Pat was a far better runner though.

Julmiste was a worse passer than White. Does that automatically make him worse though? He was infinitely better with his legs and not as far behind in gameday passing statistics as you may think. Oh, and he won more than a few games while starting.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
