We wish him well! Talented arm and hope he does well at WKU! NFL scouts have to love the arm. Wish this whole CWT plan didn't blow up on a lot of USF peeps.

Taggart does not hate him. In fact they have respect for each other.

I wouldn't think CWT hated MW. He seemed to be very high on him and had him starting very early in his college career. It is too bad there was not enough blocking or overall talent around MW to help him succeed at USF.

With the shake-up on offense, the reasons seem pretty clear. Mike's a good kid, I just hope there were no bad feelings on either side of this move.

Why? Holtz never even offered him a scholarship. CWT was the one who discovered him and got him to commit.

 

Both coaches were recruiting him

 

 

Just so you know, people bring this topic up only because there has been continued ongoing debate on this issue.  While what you say makes sense, that is of little value on this board with regard to this topic.  :D

But I do kinda wonder if he & CWT talked about whether he would fit with the new offense. Seems like if he knew how Taggart was feeling about his place in the offense, he could have gone ahead & entertained those other possibilities before spring practice.
