Why? Holtz never even offered him a scholarship. CWT was the one who discovered him and got him to commit.

 

Both coaches were recruiting him

 

 

Just so you know, people bring this topic up only because there has been continued ongoing debate on this issue.  While what you say makes sense, that is of little value on this board with regard to this topic.   :D

 

Holtz offered him both at LaTech and USF. Scott is the one who discovered him in the 10th grade.

With White out of the picture and only a less-experienced sophomore ahead of him, he's got to think his chances are better here...unless he goes DII. He has to make a strong statement to get there, though.

Pretty sure he graduates in Spring, so can play immediately.  Unless you're saying he's not a likely D-1 starter elsewhere.

 

Agree, that if he can't beat out Flowers when he's a senior, he's just not D-1 material.

TBPH, yes. If he was a great standout, I really think it would have shown by now. If he's found another gear good for him (us), but haven't seen it yet.
