Right now, I have USF as the top 8 seed playing Ohio State in the in the region of doom with South Carolina, UConn, Duke and FSU. We need to make hay in the conference tourney UCF (264rpi) is hardly better than Cincy (269rpi). Hopefully playing (and beating?) UConn will help as well Edited February 25, 2015 by cophbulls

Looks like we're #29 .... FGCU at #22??? http://espn.go.com/womens-college-basketball/rankings FGCU has had a heck of hoops program in women. They are also not too bad in mens. They call their mens hoops team Dunk City. They made the tourny not long ago and had a good run into it. USF needs to look no further than down south to see how they do it. Maybe one day, USF can have the success as Dunk City. It's also a lot easier to rack up wins in the A-Sun Conference. Is it, though? FGCU's RPI is better than one ours and that takes into consideration SOS, doesn't it?

Although FGCU did lose to Auburn(163)

Not all teams match up the same and therefore other lesser teams than USF might have no problem vs ECU even though they aren't as talented as USF. How is it that only Stanford has beaten UCONN yet UCONN hasn't lost since and beat #1 SC with no issues. The way teams matchup is a lot of the reason there are so many upsets come March Madness Tournament time.
