Ridiculous, American conference is so bad, beat Cincy by 30 and drop 4 spots in the RPI. Right now, I have USF as the top 8 seed playing Ohio State in the in the region of doom with South Carolina, UConn, Duke and FSU. We need to make hay in the conference tourney UCF (264rpi) is hardly better than Cincy (269rpi). Hopefully playing (and beating?) UConn will help as well

Highly unlikely USCe and UConn will be in the same region

Quite possible that UConn and USC get into the same bracket if UConn is not a number one seed. USC being the lowest one seed an UConn being the highest two seed would in fact put them in the same bracket. And before everyone starts screaming and ******** about how I dont know what I am talking about, UConn is 5 in the RPI, if they lose again (USF?) its quite possible they become a two seed.

They're not going to lose again and will be a #1 seed. They're the best team in the country. I think they win out.

Well I dont really disagree but at this moment in time, they are ranked 5th in RPI with 7 of the top ten teams having harder SOS. Also Baylor and South Carolina also only have one loss to go along with that tougher schedule. We will see for certain! I got my tixs!

Current Bracketology has us as a 6 seed playing in Arizona. We received a procedural bump from a 7 seed to a 6 seed to get us away from UConn.

ND, Baylor, USCe, and UConn are 1-seed locks (unless they lose again, then all bets are off)

ESPN has Baylor as a two with Tenn as the #1. I'm not convinced there either.

I think UCONN could lose to us (and only us) once and still would get a #1 seed. You don't do what they have done all year and then not get rewarded with a #1 seed. Right now, regardless of RPI, they are the #1 overall squad. Even with a loss to us, the worst that happens is that they drop to # 3 or 4.

Not to mention that all of this is likely moot anyways as UCONN is going to be a 25+ point favorite to beat us next week.

Interesting. I disagree. If Baylor doesn't lose, they're in. TN's out with 4 losses

I'd drop ND before I'd drop Baylor, but both are better than TN.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
