I just hope this isn't because uconn is one of those legendary teams that come along once every decade. The loss to Stanford has made them determined to be infamous.

#23 Syracuse down by 15 with 9 minutes to play against unranked Miami.

We might be able to jump a couple of spots in the polls, if we beat ECU.

Looking good! It's in our hands now, let's take it to ECU and win convincingly! We'll be Top 20 before we know it! These ladies deserve it, what a team!

NCAA for the first time announces preliminary seedings for top 20 WBB teams. USF is not one of them. However, some unranked teams, such as Cal and Oklahoma, are included.  Of course, this can change over the next month.

PS: The top 16 teams will host the first two rounds.

Kentucky beat a ranked Mississippi team. Don't recall if it was Ole Miss or state.

Interesting. They've never done this before, and they say it's so the schools can start getting ready to host games. WTF? Sure seems like a ploy to "freeze" the home locations for some reason. And what could that reason be? I'm guessing attendance. Once the dance begins, the NCAA probably gets a cut of the gate, and doesn't want to see any sub-1000 attendance figures. They want to give home games only to proven sellout teams, perhaps? I don't have the energy to do it, but if somebody were to add a fifth column of average attendance to this data, it might be revealing...

Great predictors on that committee, no wonder why USF has been snubbed all season.. Edited by USFBulls12
