We need to hang a hundred tonight to get someone's attention.

One of the assistants last night said that our RPI will continue to drop until we play UConn. He pointed out that UConn has the same issue.  But UConn will prolly still get a #1 seed.

IDK. With the #7 RPI and #40 SOS, if the season ended today, I think they'd probably get a #2.

Geno's "name" might be enough for the humans to bump them up, though.

Hopefully UCONN, USF, ECU, and Tulane win out against all the lower AAC teams. There's a very distant outside longshot we get a 3rd team in.

If they do not lose again there is ZERO percent chance that UCONN doesn't get a #1 seed. Don't forget, they likely get to play us twice and have a game against the current #1 and unbeaten South Carolina.

Notice I said, "If the season ended today"

Hopefully we will steal at least one of those games. We do it in the regular season, we're co-champs. We do it in the tourney, we're tourney champs. Either way, we get hardware and a dance ticket.

This team, barring any disasters, will be dancing for sure. It is just a matter of how high of a seed we can land at this point. If we can knock off UCONN once (wishful thinking) and take care of the rest of our games, we could be a 4 seed. At this point, given how traditionally top-heavy women's college basketball can be, I would much rather be a 10 seed than an 8 or 9. I think we ultimately end up in the 5 to 7 range.

In the AP Poll, the two teams in front of us Seton Hall #26 and green Bay #27 lost to worse teams. So, USF #28 should at least move up to #26 this week. I'm not sure if any teams will drop out of the current top 20. Georgia #22 will likely move down, but probably still be ranked.

In the Coaches poll, Seton Hall #24 should drop out, but James Madison #26 (42 votes) could very well  take their place instead of USF #27 (37 votes), since they had two better wins. Georgia #21 will move down, but likely stay ranked.

PS. Our RPI is now #25.

USF is currently ranked #25 in the latest AP Top 25 for this week.  Keep the momentum going ladies!

Coingrats to making the AP top 25 for the first time!

Coaches poll was from last week. It won't be released until tomorrow.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
