An interesting development. I would have been happy to keep him and go back to the 4-3. That said, the bend but don't break is a pretty soul stealing defense to watch.

Another slap in the face to Taggs for sure.     

 

Yes our Defense was bad to say the least under  Bresnahan, but I Suspect it was more due to Coach T putting his hands/ imput all over it, like he did the offense.     

 

To answer the question above how does this hurt USF,  It hurts USF because Bresnahan spent a year under Taggs and knows what Taggs wants to do and how he "Thinks" he can get it done.  Oleary unlike Taggs, wont micro mange  as much ,  He also knows what it takes to win at this level unlike Taggart.

 

 

The more the off season plays out the more depressing the upcoming season looks.    Unless Coach T signs  a STUD QB and let's the coordinators be coordinators this season, He is a dead man walking.   Sad for us Die hards to have to sit thru another year of Catch Phrase Coach T.

And UCF has snatched Bresnahan from the USF cesspool and will make him a winner.

Apparently you missed the part where we fired him. I can see why you would like him though-his defenses were as soft as those silk panties you wear.
