Baxter said USF only allows someone to use nine credit hours in the summer to meet the required GPA. Baxter took more than nine hours but those extra hours couldn’t count for USF but do count for OU. OU allows for more than nine hours in the summer, which is what Baxter needed to reach the required GPA.

OU isn't top tier, but I tend to agree. Only problem I have with this is if this was not clearly expressed before he signed on here... if not, that would be pretty ******.

That assumes he was going take (and pass) 12 hours?  If he's an academic tweener (not unusual for JUCOs), that may not be a foregone conclusion.

Just to make everyone feel a bit better this morning, word out of OU camp from Bob Stoops is that Baxter is already a starting WR in certain formations. Wish that he could have made it in here. Seems to be a great talent.
