After watching our stinky football team, watching this team is like a nice shower.

Excellent coaching after two huge timeouts. One gets an easy bucket the other gets the exact shot we wanted to Perry down low. Loved how the announcers showed the motion to set up the last play.

How many games will we win this year..who knows but the team never gives up even if some of us do. I have to admit 2-3 times I said that was it and that it was over.

Have to get better on the defensive glass and the loose balls but man what a difference.

I keeping my mouth shut until the scoreboard reads 00:00

 

Basketball is a very tough sport to call an end, so no worries. Most people are still in football mode, basketball is a game of runs where you get stretches of cold play and stretches of hot play. It's tough to predict.

 

The team played great, and were really pumped up when they needed to be. Coaching was excellent as many have already mentioned.

 

 

I thought we were toast when they hit their last 3, and started typing "dagger" but before I could finish the post, CAJ hit his three to get it back to two, and I deleted my post.

 

I admit, I'm schytzo

It's crazy in an awesome way right? That's why I love basketball... It may not be too good for the heart, but who cares!

 

 

I've been up since 4AM, and should be off to bed by now, but the adrenaline rush from that game means it'll be a while before I crash.

 

But when I do? Zonkers!

You guys are funny. It's like watching a see saw. Way down one moment, then way up another 

 

 

I think it's more reflecting the changing circumstances of the game. I don't think anyone was unnecessarily negative or way too glass half full at any point tonight between whistles. Then again, I wasn't on here for all of it. Imagine if someone had a written history on you during a volatile event that you attended or experienced in some way.

 

Sheesh, read my earlier response. It wasn't meant as a degrading comment.

Great win for the team! Have season tickets and enjoying every minute of it. How refreshing to see a group of players play as a team and fight! COA knows what he's doing. I'm anxious to see what the future holds for us. The stands are starting to get a little fuller each game. Having a great time.

Caught bits & pieces while visting family and sneaking peeks.  Tucked the phone away with 9 or so left, down 13 or so.  Pulled into the driveway, turned it on with 3 minutes left and watched an amazing finish.

 

This team has a lot of growing to do, and needs to get tougher in the middle, but these guys never quit and we're seeing excellent leadership from Allen, Collins and Perry.  Young guys are emerging.

 

It's early, but our season record is going to be greatly impacted by how we win/loss these close ones or off nights.  To me, I had this in the "now we're 3-2" bucket, but am thrilled to be 4-1...should be 5-1 headed to Bama.

 

Again, lots to work on, but this is a fun team to watch.
