I don't know if there was anything to sign. You must have a scholarship to sign a NLI. Which is the reason why walk-ons don't sign anything and we didn't have a sholarship available, so I guess they are treating him as a walk-on until one becomes available.

 

If I am going to walk on to the team, may I sign a National Letter of Intent?
No.  You must receive an athletics scholarship for a NLI to be valid.

Yeah, but technically, we've got 10 scholarships available for the 2015-2016 season. If he signed that would just definitely mean that someone won't be back.

I don't believe any of the true freshman or JUCO transfers that signed with Antigua will leave. Perry, Peters, Collins, Cousins, Guerroro, Holston Jr., Mercurius, Morillo, and Zeigler all stay.

Oversigning, don't we do that in football?

 

I don't think our staff would let Luis "hang out" there without a signature. Some team can just come in and scoop him up.

 

I think if the transcript clears, we will see a mention of a signing soon.

 

As for the roster spot, well, that's in the future. Look at what happened to Omogbehin. I thought he wasn't going to go anywhere (BTW, he's not even getting minutes at the new school).

Maryland transfer Roddy Peters will be eligible next season. Does that mean Mercurius or even Ziegler's minutes will be significantly reduced? I don't see Clayton leaving because we need serious beef in the front court.
