Crying about the past is doing anything to make the situation now better.

I dunno, I'd argue that it really does NOT do anything to help. Like all the whining about how CSH was better than CWT...you know?

Somehow, "not" didn't make it into my post but was supposed to be there, multitasking.

Just bringing in the reality of where the program is at thanks to Holtz and his staff. Holtz made the choice to hire DC Cosh. Holtz made bone head calls. Had bad clock management skills. Made players soft by preaching excuses like the weather was the cause of USF losing. He took over a program that went to bowl games year in and year and and ran it into the ground. That may be history but USF must never forget history or it will repeat. That is why we will keep bringing up the past so that you will never forget.

That's not the total reality of why the team is where it's at today, if you just put it all on one person, gone for almost 2 years. So by continually bringing up a selective history just reminds me about how some on here aren't totally honest in their assessments.

PS, I've seen plenty of bone head calls by the current coach and the one before Holtz. And excuses for not winning too.

The wife and I watched a La Tech practice today and spoke with Holtz for 1/2 hour afterwards.  If anyone is interested in our discussion, PM me.  Done arguing with people on here.  Probably won't get a chance to respond in detail until we get back home after the Memphis game.

Oh snap. CWT just burned me with that coaching clinic against SMU.

Didn't really see any terms for what constitutes a win in your original post, but yeah, I guess he did.

Point is, your snark was too hasty and you should have aimed higher.  Maybe 5-8 wins would have been better, Holtz certainly got both of those #s.

There were no terms. I got burned. CWT has risen to my challenge of playing .333 PCT ball.
