I miss CJL...

If CWT can win 5 games this season, he keeps my confidence.  Four wins and I'm a doubter.  Got to have a QB that can throw 55% and the running back will take off.  When that happens the Bulls are back in Bowl city.

To get that QB we are going to need a coaching staff to do that. If CWT does not have the QB situation figured out by next season, I dont think he will last. Kind of shows us how good CJL was as a defensive minded coach as he won at times without a good QB. He relied on the strenghts of his players like Andre Hall to carry USF offense to their 1st ever bowl game. Too bad that we had to face NC State that was pretty good at stopping the run. So I had a feeling USF would struggle to get anything against their NFL prospect defense. The USF defense kept us in the game but only could do so much.

Skip Holtz sucked here.

Taggart so far has been terrible here.

That is all.

How about we try this. Stop bringing in suck ass Holtz into every USF thread. Stop making threads about him. He screwed USF over while getting paid 1.75M a year. USF screwed itself over by STILL giving him 500k a year for the next 3 years. STILL

And Leavitt is gone and not coming back and is taking more money by suing than what Holtz did by contract.

Dykes signed 10+ JUCOs every year which inflated recruiting rankings and set himself up for a big 2012 season so he could get out the door leaving the cupboard empty (except for Kenneth Dixon) for the next coach. 35 seniors graduated after 2012 and no depth was really developed. Holtz has had to find some JUCOs and transfers to even things out. Many of the JRs and Srs were actually brought in by Holtz. These starters were brought in under Holtz QB Sokol (transfer from Iowa), RT Bell (JUCO), OG Wixon (JUCO), C Brunson (Transfer from ULL), TE Gaston (JUCO)  WR Turner (Transfer from LSU), WR Griffin (Transfer from USF), WR Taylor (true sophomore), DE Bates (transfer from Illinois), LB Johnson (JUCO), LB Pinson (JUCO), CB Woods (true sophomore), K Barnes (RS freshman), P McPherson (true sophomore). There are about 10 true freshmen getting significant playing time. The 2015 recruiting class is at 21 so far with no JUCOs. Holtz has done a good job cleaning up the mess Dykes left.

USF actually cheated Leavitt out of a lot more money in that. Do some research.
