Will be either Mike White or Steven Bench to start at SMU. Will know more later.

yes, and I'm guessing Mike White, since Bench got the start & full game, and produced 3 whopping points.  That said, I'm guessing Flowers gets several series, no matter the score, to test drive him.  If we lose to SMU, looks for even more Flowers, and the season is effectively dead.

Agree! We need to see what the kid can do. The coaches and players have been raving about him so I hope he gets more playing time. White just needs to correct his mental mistakes to give USF a chance.

Bench was far better than White has been most games.  The fact that the running game sucked isn't his fault.

Sure put White back in against the worst team in FBS so he can look adequate. That way Taggart can finally tell everyone it's been proven on the field and bury Bench for good.

If CWT had stuck with Stanford offense from 2014, Flowers would be lighting up scoreboards at Appalachian State right now and this thread would be sitting with the ones on Terrence Mitchell, D'Vario Montgomery, Leslie Stirrups, Carlton Hill, Bradley Battles, Lamar Robbins... Credit CWT for adapting and QF for putting the work in to become a legit throwing QB as well as a dangerous runner.
