Joey Johnstons USF column in today's paper had a little more detail on it ... First time he'd called an audible ... even repositioned Price from once side to the other.

The Bulls came to the line and White knew the play had little chance of success, given the matchups he immediately noticed. For the first time ever, White audibled, checking to “Power,’’ a running play for RB Marlon Mack. White even directed TE Sean Price in a shift to the line’s opposite side.

 

Mack broke loose for a 54-yard touchdown run.

 

“(White) took what we taught him to do and executed it in a pressure situation,’’ Taggart said. “They took ownership of the offense. As a coach, it was great to see that.’’
