Besides "the event in the locker room" the reason he was fired - Rutgers 31 - USF 0.

Besides "the event in the locker room" the reason he was fired - Rutgers 31 - USF 0.

And now we would be excited just to get them on our schedule with no thought of actually competing with a p5 team.

I never want to play them again. Don't care what conference they are in.

I'll take Indiana, BYU, Texas and Wisconsin - anyone over RU. Not like they would better our SOS dramatically.  ECU does more for that than RU.

Footballwise, Leavitt was a great planner, and was amazing studing tape. His weakness was in-game desicions.

Tend to agree, rarely (if ever) changed his plan from half to half, while the other team(s) did. That, to me, is ultimately why he was shown the door. Awesome guy and good coach, though. We have yet to prove we can do better...

 

 

This is what scares me about Taggart. Not sure he's able to adjust when he needs to.
