Give me a tall athletic QB who can stand in the pocket, but still take off running if need be. That is our QB.

That guy is being recruited by every program in the country and ends up at USC or Alabama.

Does anyone know if Taggart makes players run for mistakes like coach Boone in remember the titans. Bad pass= run 1 mile, miss a block=run a mile, turnover= run 1 mile, drop a pass= run 1 mile

he wiffed on quite a few good transfers. Trickett is starting for WVU. Brissett is starting for NCState. land either of those guys and we are in a completely different position.

 

He needs to find a graduate transfer or a JUCO to play right away. bring in a freshman also and a young transfer from a top program that can sit a year.

i have said for years to recruit 2 top qbs a year

and a juco stud every 2 years

 

 

qb is the most important position on the team

 

what does smazza know???

Here's the main problem. The recruiting pitch probably goes something like:

 

"Hey young man, how would you like to come to USF and play QB for us? You can probably start immediately, but I cannot guarantee we can keep you upright and you may be running for your life most of the time. On the plus side, you can play in our big empty red stadium at 3:30 in Tampa in September."

 

Is that going to sell anybody?
