Found this recent interview with John Madden where he says for the first time, offenses at the high school, college and pro level are doing the pass orientated type. That it makes it easier for transition to each level. So you have CWT, who uses another type offense which puts the players behind the learning curve of all the teams they play. Not smart.

Gruden has said the same thing. That if he were to ever go into college coaching, the spread is the only way to go anymore both for the learning curve and productivity.

Anyone watching him mutter and putter along the sideline unengaged and unemotional understands that it is worse than watching paint dry. I wouldn't hire his sorry ass as a GA if I was HC.  He's completely checked out and so has his team.  I've seen monkey **** fights at the zoo that looked more organized than the USF football team we watched in person for all four quarters of this fiasco.  Another year of Taggart will be the shoveling of dirt over the rotting corpse of USF football.
