The Terrapins did to the Dukes as we should have done to the Catamounts (?).  Hate to say this, but they deserve all the respect they are getting on here.  If we do not greatly improve from Saturday evening against the Terps it will be a long afternoon on Saturday.

Their defense could be improved and Edsall does know his way around those. May be first year he has a healthy roster.

I think we were much worse last year, and we were able to beat a better Cincinnati team that we face Saturday.

 

We didn't beat Cincinnati.  They thoroughly beat themselves.

Not fair, even if slightly true.  We blocked a FG, returned for a TD.  Forced a fumble, scoop & score.  Made a key stop on 4th down to mostly seal the game.

 

So, while Cincy struggled, the D & ST stepped up huge to get the win.

Yup...almost perfect. The only complaint, and it's fairly minor, was Dunk missing a few fair ops, instead of letting the punts roll 10-15 yards farther.

Not because Maryland is so good; because we are not good. The team is making progress from last year, but impatience will only beget disappointment.

The way this board has overrated MD this week has made me LOL several times thye last few days.  At different times, I have read that (1) passing is their strength, (2) running is their strength and (3) defense is their strength. . . . . . . please. . . . . . . ITS MARYLAND!!!!!!

 

The big point spread is more about the fact USF was awful last year and shaky last week, than it is about maryland as a powerhouse.

 

 

If USF employs a game plan that limits pass attempts to 17 or less, USF will be in this game until the very end.

You obviously missed the Terp's review on how several Terps are future NFLers. You gotta have faith in the homers' assessments.
