I would make of it that Tags needs to keep the heat on him to get him to stick.

It looks doubtful. Most of those players have already commited to a school and the one's that haven't commited, don't have an offer from us.

Last year he threw for 60% 180/300 2,810 yards, 32 TDs and 11 Rushing TDs

how does that compare to ironside?

 

 

Only 9 TDs short. Ironside is one of only 7 QBs in Georgia high school history to throw over 40 TDs in a season. He was also 22-3 as a starter in 6A in metro Atlanta, the state's highest division  career totals of 70 touchdown passes, 4,475 passing yards and 315 completions. The only reason they weren't state champs, imo, is a second half concussion in the quarterfinal that had him sitting out the rest of the game. His dad was his high school coach and he played QB in D1a, starting at MTSU.

You can make fun, but no QB USF has now or its sights on has done what Ironside has in high school, or even on the same level of competition. Both Bench and White came from smaller AAA schools with county honors  Granted,  White did win a state championship in 3A, Ironside went down in the 3rd quarter of the state 6A quarterfinal with a concussion. Ironside was named offensive 1st team player in 6A on county, regional and state levels.

Ironside being short might have been his biggest detraction. He's at a private NAIA school in Tennesee, ranked top 25 for that division and according to this article, the best college football team in that state.  I think they are transitioning to FCS, they target FCS transfers.
