Milwaukee and Madison booked

My wife just told me she's heading off to a church retreat that weekend. My first reaction?  Um, that's the Wiscy weekend...I may head up!  She didn't flinch, so I may be heading up.

 

If so, flying out of West Palm, likely Thursday, fairly early, then back Sunday.  Cool to see some Bulls heading up...we were in large numbers in Chicago.  More than I expected.

 

If I head up, would be cool to connect with some Bulls fans, and a beer tour sounds good.  Milwaukee till Friday late, then off to Madison may be best.

 

I'll keep an eye out here, and if I pull the trigger, hope to make it a fun trip.

Do the Packers have a home game that weekend?

Going to try and catch early enough flight on Friday to drive up and see Lambeau Field. Being able to see Lambeau and attend a game at South Bend within the last several years will be pretty special.

Staying just outside Milwaukee off the interstate. A Country Inn, I think.

We are at the Hyatt Place Madison Downtown.  May try to catch up with you at the brewery tour on Thursday.  We are booked in Madison for Fri & Sat nights.  Will be up there from Tuesday on.  Will start to hatch a plan next week hopefully of where to go while up there and use some of the suggestions here.

I'm staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Madison-West, which is about 5 miles from the stadium and about half the rate of the downtown Hampton.  I'm hoping for shuttle service to the stadium

We're flying into Milwaukee around 2:30 or so on Thursday. Each tour will presell tickets ($7.00) for 30 people.

With that $7 you get a souvenir glass and four six ounce pours of their beer and a coupon for a beer at another bar outside the brewery.

We're planning on the six o'clock tour.

Maybe we could get a large group of BULLS to all tour together?

Went to the website.  Looks like you can only book a couple of months in advance.  Will have to start looking end of July into August to book the same tour.
