He hasn't taken one here..... Not saying there's a chance but don't a lot of locals not waste an official on the home team? They Usually take an OV if they're serious about the school. Coaches always want their top targets to come in on OV's. For instance Jordan Griffin used one of his OV's on USF. Yeah, I assume the OV is where they get wined and dined which wouldn't happen on an unofficial one ...? Correct. The university can't pay for anything on an unofficial. Legally... as long as they don't get caught (or have a way around the rules.) Wanted to include this link, but too late to edit the last post: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/03/sports/ncaafootball/unofficial-visits-in-ncaa-recruiting-draw-concern-not-scrutiny.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 Also, there are things the University can pay for during an unoffical visit. The university can pay for the tickets for an on campus event or athletic competition. And I *believe* they can provide transportation if the athletic event is off-campus (such as a USF game at RayJay)

Dinner, entertainment, all transportation, etc. The perks that separate the OV from an unofficial would have to paid for by the family. The red carpet is rolled out for recruits on OV's and recruits almost never commit to a school without taking an OV. I've been following recruiting since the early 2000's and I can't remember the last time a kid committed and signed with a school without taking an OV at some point. The only ones that might have is Jacquian Williams and Josh Bellamy (the second two times).

Maybe he's a big college fb fan, but other than that, why else would you attend a game if you weren't interested in the school (especially with how bad we've been)?
