Rumors seemed to come out of nowhere. Makes for some extra clicks. If it goes your way, you get to look like you're in the know. Newberg has repeatedly said "he isn't going to USF" until last night when he caved and said he had heard it from enough reputable sources that there was a legit shot. I was still pretty skeptical, and also think we'll never know what was really going on behind the scenes, but where there's smoke there's fire. My thoughts are Dad wanted him at Clemson while McCloud was really intrigued by playing with his family and friends at USF. In the end, "father knows best"..... If thats the case that seems like a situation where a transfer down the line wouldn't be out of the question if certain things didn't go right at Clemson.
