So, from 1998-2004 as a Non-AQ, USF's record vs AQ is 1-7, which is good for a Non-AQ vs AQ win pct. of 12.5% Notes: 2/8 (25%) of those games were vs ranked competition. Comparatively speaking, from the start of the BCS era to their start in an AQ conference (1998-2012), UCF went 4-43 which is good for a Non-AQ vs AQ win pct. of 9.3% Notes: 15/47 (31.9%) of the games were vs ranked competition. From 2005-present, USF's record vs AQ teams as an AQ team is 33-48, which is good for a win pct of 40.7% Notes: 22 of the 81 teams faced were ranked at the time, good for 27.1% UCF's record vs. AQ teams as an AQ team is 5-1, good for a win pct of 83.3% Notes: 2 out of the 6 teams were ranked, good for 33.3% Fixed! So you are just going to pretend that the last seven years didn't exist for UCF? Good strategy, considering how crappy the record was. Of course, that makes you a loser, but you knew that already. You are taking USFs win percentage over 9 years (since 2005), and comparing it to UCFs 2013 win percentage.... Using your numbers 1998-present UCF between 1998-present vs AQ 9-44... (9/(9+44)=17.0%). (Take away 2013 makes UCF 4-43, 8.5% win %, it's great first season in AQ conference has more than doubled your AQ win %) USF between 1998-present vs AQ 34-55... (34/(34+55)=38.2%) Edited November 16, 2013 by Gismo

With their remaining SOS there is no way you stay ranked ahead of them if they run the table and you lose to ANY of the teams left on your schedule. So tread lightly. We could be 2-8 heading to ur house and if you slip up, kiss that bcs goodbye

Here is what matters... Top 25 finishes at the END of the season UCF 2 USF 0 If rankings at the end of the season is your measuring stick, the only one that has mattered for awhile is the BCS standings and in that regard: UCF 1 USF 1 And if memory serves me correctly, your ranking was one of the biggest jokes of the BCS era (along with our #2 ranking) considering you didn't beat a team that finished above .500 Anything else you mentioned was hypothetical ... I still think UC is too far behind them and UCF would still be ranked higher even with a loss. Their problem would be a 3-way tie and Louisville would almost assuredly jump them.
