New Helmet Stickers

Wonder which QB will be the first to earn one. Will it be a TD pass? A scramble for 1st down? Maybe the first one with two consecutive completions?

By the end of the year, we're going to give them out for tying your shoes if we want the QBs to get any.

Not a huge fan of helmet stickers. Maybe on helmets that are plain like Ohio State or Penn State or the likes where it's against a solid colored helmet, but looks cluttery when it's surrounding a logo.

Plus with us, it's gotta be mirrored with essentially three different helmets from week to week.

This is unfortunately the best one I could find in a hurry. Skip to 1:35 to see the stickers on the back of Selvie's helmet. Looks like small U's like on the side of the helmet to me. Obviously could be wrong though.

 

I remember that game!  Good times.  Wow it's crazy to watch this with all the passion in the fans, coaches, and team and compare that to the gameday experience now.

 

On the helmet stickers.  I thought I read that these are only being applied to the white helmets.  Is that correct?  If so, I don't see a scenario where we don't use the white helmets LOL

They should give out a sticker of the lamp (from the school logo) for academic achievement.

We should bring back those 2007 jerseys every once in a while as a nod to that era of our program. Maybe put them on for a bowl game or a big conference game no more than once a year and only of the team performs well and earns it.
