This crappy team doesn't deserve to wear them. They need to earn it.

Hopefully there can be a negative.....what happens when a player goes <0 horns ?  Do we take him out to pasture to put him out of his misery ?

This is unfortunately the best one I could find in a hurry. Skip to 1:35 to see the stickers on the back of Selvie's helmet. Looks like small U's like on the side of the helmet to me. Obviously could be wrong though.

I remember that game! Good times. Wow it's crazy to watch this with all the passion in the fans, coaches, and team and compare that to the gameday experience now.

On the helmet stickers. I thought I read that these are only being applied to the white helmets. Is that correct? If so, I don't see a scenario where we don't use the white helmets LOL

We should bring back those 2007 jerseys every once in a while as a nod to that era of our program. Maybe put them on for a bowl game or a big conference game no more than once a year and only of the team performs well and earns it.

 

 

I'm sure UNDER ARMOUR will be thrilled with that idea!! Yes go ahead and use an old NIKE design instead of our uniform.....umm don't think so

I remember they also had academic helmet stickers with an "A" with that Bull sticker

Not a huge fan of helmet stickers. Maybe on helmets that are plain like Ohio State or Penn State or the likes where it's against a solid colored helmet, but looks cluttery when it's surrounding a logo.

Plus with us, it's gotta be mirrored with essentially three different helmets from week to week.

You had to remind us of the times when we were actually good and actually relevant.

 

Like the year we won the BE and went to a BCS Bowl game?  That was back in, uh, uh.  Remind me again when we were really relevant.  We are 2 games into a new era.  I am not nearly the most optimistic guy on the Board, but I think we will move in the right direction and get back to middle of the pack in whatever conference we are in, you know, like the good old days.
