Can you see him playing QB in the SEC? I know a lot of folks are sick of hearing about good the SEC is, but it's clearly a physical league, and QBs need to take a beating. In fact, UF has suffered thru numerous QB injuries.

If he's a WR, maybe. If he wants to be CB, they are STOCKED with 3 incoming 4 star recruits. Wonder what Mus will sell him on.

With a lot of guys, you take advantage of their ego and say something like, "If you don't think you're good enough to compete with these players, go to USF."

Sad but true...I think he's gone, but hope I'm wrong.

Likely teams that didn't give this guy a WHIFF till now.  I know loyalty maybe silly to expect, as he has a right to do what's best for himself...but I hope the fact that Taggart offered him in June while UF and others apparently didn't even think about this then 2 star weighs in on his decision.

I agree.  Unfortunately, it matters more to some than others.  Porter may be loyal, or he may bail because Florida... ooh, Florida. Based upon what I've seen on twitter and the fact he's cancelled his OV, I think it's the latter in this case.  We'll just have to wait and see.

Luckily, the class is shaping up to be a near Top 40 class (which is awesome for a 2-10 team), so losing 1-2 guys won't kill us.  We've picked up some good playmakers since, so while I'd like to keep him, I'm not going to cry if he bolts (that's my plan anyway!).

Everybody keeps talking about a canceled OV.  You do realize that he has been around and talking to the staff for a long time.  He has probably been on a non-official visit already and has more then enough contact with coaches.  He could be using this time to see what Florida has to offer and hear what they have to say.  If Florida is close to flipping him after that I would hope that he would at least give us an official instead of Wisconsin in that situation.
