The area across from MOSI or north of the track stadium would be a much better plan.  As stated, it keeps the athletic venues together.  I recall the plan is to build a parking garage on the west side of the Sun Dome, which would service the multiple facilities, as well as student parking during the week.

Just bought 2 season tickets for next year.  I have been gone for 2 years now I ca afford them again.  Not great seats but hey I can still stand behind the endzone.  Also just found out you give give unused tickets back to usf for the boys and girls club of tampa.  Guess I'll give a few away since i'm in Atlanta now.

If you're in Atlanta, check out Miller's Ale House for watching USF games!

Will do. Moving there in July.

Back to topic: Many big, nationally known programs have their "OCS" not on but near campus. The most notable one off the top of my head is South Carolina. WB is a few blocks away. http://goo.gl/maps/nOjxl

Just because it doesn't fit in that rectangle that is campus now, doesn't mean the definition of "campus" wouldn't change to reach across one street. It's still OC. Schools like Oklahoma and Minnesota have their campuses divided if not scattered through their areas.

In the case of an OCS, I'm more than happy to think outside (or adjacent to) the box, literally

By the way ... I also want to thank the OP BullsBucsFan426 for sharing this information, when I disagree it isn't with the OP, I am just not sure Victor's vision and USF's vision are the same.

I also could be wrong and ideas could have changed. So, when I share my thoughts on things like this, please don't think that I assume that I am always right.

No problem, and I should have done a little more investigation of Crist's claims prior to posting them. I'm not sure where this trailer park is either. That said, he also thought USF's lease runs another 9 years. Sunshine law request maybe?

That said, I appreciate everyone posting things they're hearing as well. Perhaps I can lean on some of old friends in student government to get a joint hearing with Dr. Genshaft and Crist about the vision for the university area?

Oregon is another one I found. A mile from the main quad. Across from a river around nothing. But will anyone seriously argue that Oregon doesn't have an OCS? For all intents and purposes, it's OCS.

I always wanted our OCS to be located in a trailer park.

To be true to our roots?

I think NCSU's Carter-Finely might qualify as away from campus as well. When we went up there, seems like it was next to PNC arena, and a stretch (driving distance...about five or so miles) from the main campus.
