Texas sucks. I've always hated Texas. Now, there's one more reason.

Me too. Or it could be bad mayo. But definitely one of the two.

Me too. But I still prefer Mitchell.

I'm not so sure about Bench. Is he a shoe-in to be starter? I don't know how much evidence there is for that.

No one we get as a transfer is a shoo-in to be a starter.  If they were good enough to start at their current school, they wouldn't be transferring.  I look at it as one more option and added competition.  That can only help, at this point.

If he can handle a snap under center and knows how to run the power, he will start.

I have not witnessed any leader among our existing QB's.. Steven Bench I believe would easily get the starting job...

.Fumbled snaps is not a great motivator neither are floaters and interceptions..

Its hard to take a  receicer to task when he runs a poor route if QB throws the ball  5 feet over his head..

A QB  cannot take the OL to task for not blocking if he fumbled the ball at the snap.

A QB cannot take the defense to task  for not stopping the opponent  when he plays poorly..

Our team needs a leader and IMO Steven Bench can be that leader and bring the much needed moral boost and winning spirit. ..

Go Bulls

Based on what I saw at the Spring Game this year, plus the spot action both Eveld and Floyd had last year, I think you're right.

@gregauman: Former Penn State QB Steven Bench says he was impressed by the excitement around Willie Taggart during his USF visit.

@gregauman: Ex-Penn State QB Steven Bench enjoyed USF visit but is still wide-open. At N.C. State this weekend, then Mississippi State on Monday-Tues.
