If we have a QB coach, does that mean we'll have a full-time QB next season?

Maybe the reports are in error and Weinke found some eligibility b/c of some loophole about crumbling conferences. Weinke's coming as a QB next year.

The last person we hired in a coaching capicty because of "Name" turned out to be a horrible thing for us. (Skip Holtz).

If Weinke can coach and has the creditentals and experience than Im all for it, But we need to hire someone who is proven, Not just because he played College FB, won a Heisman as a senior Citizen and helped Scam Newton get ready for the NFL. (Btw how is Scam doing this year in the NFL)?

What experinence does Weinke have other than the things listed above?

Do any of you know if we're going to have an OC? If not, that could be money spent on hiring some really good coaches for other positions.

Not sure any reason why we wouldn't hire an OC.

A QB coach teaches ... I would be cool with it.

He is director of football operations at IMG. He runs QB camps for some of the top talent in the country. Think he would be a good fit.

+1

Some risk, but also plenty of upside.

Because Taggart calls his own plays.
