Alabama fans are rejoicing big time. Guy I work with, his friend plays golf with Smart and said he decided that he was going to get a raise and had more money than he could spend right now as it was. He knew with Alabama, he has job security looking at their recruiting pipeline...

Smart is in a good situation. He already makes more money than a lot of Head Coaches.

He wants the UGA job but now Richt looks to be off the hot seat. I would think he just sits tight until he gets what he is looking for.

USF should at least make a run at Kirby Smart. Especially with Auburn and Arkansas off the table.

Never gonna happen. I'd bet Smart would ignore the phone call.

He turned down $3.2 million at Auburn.

That was a "Smart" move.

He should stay there. He will make good money and always be in NC picture. Also, I bet he would be the successor to Saban if he ever leaves

Last I checked the scoreboard doesn't have a spot for current bank balance on it.
