Talked with some Alabama guys and they thought Kirby moving to a school like USF was a lot more realistic than I did. Thought it could be a good move for him.

Too be honest, I still doubt he'd do it, but at least some folks out there wouldn't be as surprised as me.

Take his name off the list. Just announced on the radio here in Mobile that Kirby Smart has agreed to a deal at Auburn for $3.2 million/year...

That would be epic as far as that rivalry is concerned...

Too be honest, I have to idea why Smart would leave Bama. He's making 750K a year and likely to be getting another raise after his second National Championship season lead by the defense. He could be at Alabama making a million a year for the next ten years. How much money do you really need. I'd take the million and unfathomable job security.

Not to mention there are some bama fans that think Saban will step down in the next five years. Smart could end up taking over at Bama.
