I think these discussions are showing theres a lot of possible good options out there (despite the picture that some tried to paint). Wouldn't mind Quinn at all.

Only problem is we are USF, not UF. UF doesn't recruit, they select or so the saying goes. Be very wary of someone coming from UF, by DEFAULT they get the cream of the crop even with Larry Curly and

The more I read about this guy the more I'm intrigued. Is Quinn a major recruiter for UF?

This. Would love another defensive-minded head coach. Hoping he could help us bring more Mike Jenkins, Ben Moffits, JPPs, etc. Plus we owe the Gators for stealing McCarney away from us anyways.

I like this idea more and more. Has the x and o's experience, local recruiting experience. First head coaching gig, which could create a deep level of loyalty.

Sounds like a decent candidate, depends on how much Quinn is running or if Muschamp is overseeing defense still. Could be addition by subtraction, merely pulling a recruiter from a school we compete with for recruits (on some level at least).

+1. Like the defensive track. That has been our greatest downside since Wally moved on, and we haven't really had anyone with potential stick around long enough to find what they could do.

Wonder if there would be any downside with him coming straight from UF?
