The more I read about this guy the more I'm intrigued. Is Quinn a major recruiter for UF?

Only problem is we are USF, not UF. UF doesn't recruit, they select or so the saying goes. Be very wary of someone coming from UF, by DEFAULT they get the cream of the crop even with Larry Curly and Moe recruiting.

Is he a good recruiter? I heard or read somewhere that he's not great with that, not many catches to his name, anyone know?

He got VH3 and Sheritt to come play D for him, those are just 2 big names from the bay area.

I would have to look up thier current recruiting class to see who else is committed.

Looks like he was in on getting 4 star WR, 4 star LB, 4 star DT and possible more.....All of the current comments don't have info under the "recruited by" column

I disagree. You still need to recruit at Florida. The only difference is the competition. You are going against FSU, Georgia, Alabama and the rest of he big boys instead of other mid level BCS schools. A good recruiter is a good recruiter.

I like the idea of this guy, but don't know much about him. Do we have any information that he would even consider leaving his current job at this point?

He was highly regarded among us Seahawk fans during his time as defensive line coach and was mostly responsible for our current DL setup, a mixture of 3-4 and 4-3. He seems to have a great eye for matching players to schemes (at least along the DL since that's all I can directly attribute to him). I'd love to see him here, should make our defense relative again.

didn't he turn down bucs DC job? can't imagine him getting pro HC job from his current position. he just left NFL for college
