USF is Calvin McGees dream job, and he would do well. Yes I think he'd do we'll also. I want a coach that wants to be here and who has some passion for USF Skippy has ZERO passion for USF Scary accurate

Would hate to see how many season tickets are lost if he somehow isn't let go. Skip probably doesn't even think his job is in jepordy And he is probably right! I see a huge drop in season ticket sales next year regardless, but acting like we actually care that this team has been awful for 2 years might help keep a few on board. He's a USF turncoat....screw him and the horse he rode out on. how is he a turncoat?? masters degree from usf. moved on to greener pastures. learned under one of the best offensive coaches in college. I won't post'em here, but they are pretty pissed. Basically saying they won't support USF football until changes on the staff are made. Specifically Holtz and Cosh. Well maybe some of the former players making it in the NFL will support a buyout. The fans can only hope that those with the means will send a message. Really? Outside of Anthony Henry what has any of them really done for the program once they left? If I missed something list it, because I do not recall any news of the rest of the NFL guys ever really putting anything back into the school or the program. I could be wrong on this, but I think I read Jenkins donated $100k.

USF is Calvin McGees dream job, and he would do well. No Head Coaching experience to my knowledge. USF must find someone who has been a head coach and know the elements needed to become a successful team. How is no head coaching experience working out for Charlie Strong? Hargreaves hasn't shown the ability to manage both Special Teams and Defensive Ends, what makes you think he could run a full team and staff? Sorry, off topic. Honestly, if we were going to go with Patrick as interim HC, he's either have to do really well or we'd take a major risk with losing him to another program as DC. I can't see him accepting a demotion to even DC on this staff if he's the interim head coach. Does anyone know of coaches accepting a demotion in the same program? Put Patrick as an interim DC, hopefully he removes the "interim" from his name at the end of the year. After that, put someone else in as interim HC-perhaps Shankweiler? He's a decent recruiter and might be able to help keep large parts of our class together. I'd consider Fitch considering he's probably part of the reason we landed Woulard as a recruit, but under his command B.J. has been at best an effective game manager-not someone who can win games for you-that's not what I want in a Head Coach.
